Ecobud Gentoo Replacement Filters are designed for use with Gentoo, Gentoo Plus and Gentoo Glass Water Filter Jugs. Each cartridge lasts up to 3 months or 600 litres of water, whichever comes first, ensuring consistently clean, fresh‑tasting hydration.

Gentoo filters help produce healthier, great‑tasting drinking water by reducing unwanted chemical pollutants such as chlorine*, fluoride*, contaminants (including heavy metals) and bacteria to minimal levels. The filtration process also micro‑clusters water molecules, improving absorption and supporting more effective hydration throughout the body.

Product Features

Ingredients

Fine top mesh/PPF filter, energising ceramic, activated carbon, Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF), calcium ionised clay & ion exchange, bottom mesh/PPF filter.

Filter Preparation:

• Remove the filter and reservoir from the jug.
• Place the filter in the main body of the jug, fill it with enough water to cover, and soak it for 15 minutes.
• Rinse the filter under the tap, then return the filter and reservoir to the jug.
• Fill the jug reservoir with water and allow the water to completely filter, then discard the water; repeat this process 2-3 times.

Care and Cleaning Instructions:

• Only hand wash the filter with cold or tepid water. Do not use hot water or detergents when cleaning the filter.
• If the filter becomes blocked by air pockets over time, firmly tap and shake the filter under running water to remove the blockage.
• If small, food-grade black carbon particles appear, rinse and vigorously shake the filter under running water until they disappear.
• Do not put the filter in the freezer or microwave.
• Do not expose the filter to liquids other than municipally treated tap water or safe private water supplies.
