Sowing and Growing Instructions:
- Each pack includes a biodegradable, tear-away plant label, seeds, and easy-to-follow sowing instructions.
- Kangaroo paw seeds germinate best in cooler temperatures, so it is best to start seeds inside during autumn or winter.
- Fill a starter pot or tray with a light, sandy seed raising mix.
- Sow seeds thinly on the surface and cover with a light layer of seed raising mix or soil.
- Lightly water and keep the soil moist so the seeds do not dry out.
- Cover the tray with a clear plastic cover to help preserve moisture, and place it in a warm, shady position to germinate.
- Germination can take up to 6 weeks, so be patient.
- When seeds start to germinate, remove the plastic cover.
- Allow seedlings to grow to about 10 cm before transplanting them into larger pots or a sunny spot in the garden.
- Ensure seedlings are well spaced when transplanting into a prepared garden bed.
