Filter Preparation:

• Remove the filter and sleeve/reservoir from the jug.
• Place the filter in the main body of the jug, fill with enough water to cover, and soak for 15 minutes.
• Rinse the filter under the tap, then return the filter and sleeve/reservoir to the jug.
• Fill the jug sleeve/reservoir with water and allow it to completely filter. Repeat this process 2-3 times before enjoying the filtered water.

Care & Maintenance:

• Keep the jug full of water to prevent the filter from drying out.
• If the filtration rate becomes extremely slow, remove the filter from the jug, rinse it under running tap water for a few minutes, and clean the underside with a soft brush to remove blockages.
• Hand wash the filter with cold or tepid water only; do not use hot water, detergents, or place the filter in the dishwasher, freezer, or microwave.
• Regularly clean the jug components with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge to avoid scratches, ensuring all soap residue is rinsed away.
• Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling the jug to prevent mould or bacterial growth.
• Replace the filter cartridge approximately every 3 months or after 600 litres of water have been filtered.
