Installation Instructions:

• Remove the lid from the pitcher and remove the reservoir from the pitcher body.
• Gently push the old cartridge out from the bottom of the reservoir.
• Unpack the new cartridge and rinse it under running water for 3 to 5 minutes, shaking the filter while tapping the sides to remove excess carbon until the water runs clear.
• Press the new filter cartridge firmly into the filter housing from the bottom of the reservoir to ensure a snug fit and create a proper seal.
• Place the reservoir back into the pitcher body, replace the lid, and run two full reservoirs of water through the pitcher, discarding this initial water to complete the conditioning process.
• Reset the digital timer indicator by holding down the button for 3 seconds.

Care & Maintenance:

• Replace the filter cartridge every 2 months or after 300 liters (80 gallons) of water filtration.
• Use cold or room-temperature tap water only; do not run hot water through the filter.
• For optimal performance, keep enough water in the pitcher to maintain the bottom of the filter in the water to prevent it from drying out.
• If you are away for a few days or the filter is not frequently used, remove the wet filter and place it in a sealed zip top bag in the refrigerator.
