Directions for Use & Care

Preparation & Application Instructions

1. Dissolve a generous half teaspoon of non-iodised salt into 1 cup of tepid (body temperature) distilled or previously boiled pure water.
2. Standing over a sink, bath, or outdoors, tilt your head sideways so that your ear faces the floor.
3. Breathing through your mouth, gently insert the spout into the upper nostril.
4. Allow the saline solution to flow smoothly through the nasal passages and exit through the opposite nostril until half the solution is used.
5. Repeat the process on the opposite side.
6. Gently blow excess moisture from the nose without pressing with your fingers, then use a tissue to clear any remaining liquid.
