Sowing Instructions:

• Sow the dahlia seeds in spring or when there is no danger of frost.
• Fill a pot or seed tray with moist, well-draining compost or seed-starting mix.
• Gently press the seeds into the compost to a depth of about 3mm to 0.5cm.
• Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged, maintaining a warm temperature around 18°C to 21°C (64°F to 70°F) for germination.
• Once the seeds germinate and grow their first set of true leaves, prick out and transplant the seedlings into individual pots.
• Gradually harden off the young plants outdoors for a couple of weeks before planting them into their final sunny, well-draining garden position.
